IRCWorld is back

IRCWorld is back online. New infrastructure, built from scratch.

What’s running

  • TLS on port 6697. All connections are encrypted. Plain text on 6667 is still available for legacy clients.
  • IPv6 support. Connect via ipv6.ircworld.org for an IPv6-only entry point.
  • Post-quantum TLS. X25519MLKEM768 key exchange is negotiated where your client supports it.
  • Anope services. NickServ, ChanServ, MemoServ, HostServ, and BotServ are all running.
  • Web IRC. Connect from your browser at webirc.ircworld.org with no install needed.
  • BNC service. A ZNC bouncer is available. Ask in #ircworld for access.

How to connect

Point your IRC client at irc.ircworld.org, port 6697 (TLS) or 6667 (plain). See the connect page for client-specific instructions.

Come say hi in #ircworld.
