About IRCWorld
A free IRC network, back online and rebuilt from scratch.
IRCWorld is a free, open IRC network. It runs on modern infrastructure with TLS, IPv6, post-quantum key exchange, and up-to-date Anope services.
No ads, no tracking, no data collection beyond what IRC inherently involves. Just IRC.
Anyone is welcome. Register a nick, open a channel, hang out.
Infrastructure
- UnrealIRCd 6 + Anope services
- TLS via Let's Encrypt wildcard certificate (
*.ircworld.org) - IPv4 and IPv6
- Post-quantum TLS (X25519MLKEM768 where supported)
- Web IRC via The Lounge at webirc.ircworld.org
- ZNC bouncer service available on request
Contact & abuse reports
Join #ircworld on the network for general questions or feedback. That's where the operators are.
To report abuse, illegal content, or anything that needs operator attention outside of IRC, or if you just need help, email us at irc@ircworld.org. We take abuse reports seriously and will act on them.
